By Cleveland Charge Staff /February 2, 2024

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Charge have acquired the rights to G Jon Elmore in a trade with the Sioux Falls Skyforce in exchange for the rights to G Olin Carter III and the rights to the Osceola Magic’s second round pick in the 2024 NBA G League Draft.

Elmore (6-3, 190, Marshall) has spent the last two seasons with the Skyforce and has played in eight games overall in 2023-24, averaging 6.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 22.0 minutes per game.  After going undrafted in 2019, Elmore has also spent time playing internationally in Italy, Greece, Hungary, and Lithuania.  After the trade, the Charge still hold all of their own draft picks still for 2024 plus a first round choice from the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Carter played in 23 games with the Charge overall in 2023-24 and averaged 7.0 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assist in 14.7 minutes per game.
