By Cleveland Charge Staff /October 25, 2024

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League have finalized their basketball staff in advance of the 2024-25 NBA G League season. Led by returning General Manager Liron Fanan and first-year Head Coach Chris Darnell, a combination of familiar and new faces will comprise the group that lead the Charge when training camp begins on October 28.

Returning to the Charge bench alongside Coach Darnell are Assistant Coaches Sam Clancy & Doron Perkins, Video Coordinator Willie Williams, and Head Athletic Trainer Takuya Kikuchi.  New for this season are Associate Head Coach Dan Vincent and Assistant Coach Antoine Broxsie

Vincent spent the last 17 years in various video and coaching capacities for the Cleveland Cavaliers, most recently serving as Director of Video/Player Development for the Cavs the last two seasons.  Vincent got his start with the Cavs as a seasonal assistant (2007-08) before working his way up the ranks as Assistant Video Coordinator/Advance Scout Manager (2008-11), Manager of Video/Advance Scouting (2011-16), Special Assistant to the Head Coach/Video (2016-19), and then Head Video Coordinator/Player Development (2019-22).

Broxsie originally joined the Cavs for the 2021-22 season as Player Development Coach, where he was responsible for forming on-court improvement plans with individual players and executing those elements while also being part of the Cavs NBA Summer League staff each year.  Before coming to Cleveland, Broxsie had experience in the NBA G League with Rio Grande Valley and Memphis in addition to spending time coaching overseas in China, Japan, and Thailand.

In addition, the Charge announced Raphael Whittingham as Strength & Conditioning Coach and Gordon Pang will serve as the Cleveland Clinic Athletic Trainer.  The changes come in conjunction with multiple Charge staff members earning NBA Call-Ups to the Cleveland Cavaliers: Mike Gerrity as an Assistant Coach, D.J. Ham as Video Assistant/Player Development, and Corey Jones as Player Development Analytics Coordinator.

Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will play host to the first five home games of the 2024-25 campaign beginning with the season opener on Saturday, November 9 at 12:00 p.m. against the Indiana Mad Ants (Indiana Pacers).
