DES MOINES, IA – The Cleveland Charge (5-9) fell to the Iowa Wolves (5-9), 136-113, at the Wells Fargo Arena on Friday night to finish Showcase Cup group play.  

Emoni Bates led Cleveland with 29 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in 33 minutes.  Olin Carter III scored 19 points in 26 minutes off the bench.  Sharife Cooper and Justin Powell each added 14 points for the Charge, while Zhaire Smith scored 10 points.

Luka Garza scored a game-high 38 points with nine boards in 33 minutes for Iowa.  D.J. Carton scored 27 points with six rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes.  Tyrese Martin scored 26 points and grabbed 10 boards in 30 minutes.  Iowa led by as many as 32 as they handed Cleveland their sixth consecutive loss.
