Charge Clinch Playoffs With Win

DETROIT, MI – The Cleveland Charge (18-14) defeated the Motor City Cruise (17-15) in the regular season finale, 113-106, to clinch a spot in the 2023 NBA G League Playoffs.  The Charge will appear in the playoffs for the first time since the 2016-17 season.

Cleveland was led by their trio of 20+ point scorers from the Cavaliers: Two-Way Player Isaiah Mobley scored a game-high 29 points with eight rebounds and six assists in 39 minutes.  Sam Merrill hit 6-of-9 three-pointers, finishing with 27 points, five boards and two steals in 41 minutes on assignment.  Dylan Windler scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds in 37 minutes on assignment.  Sharife Cooper added 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in 41 minutes.

The entire first round playoff seeding, matchups, dates & times will be released following the conclusion of the league’s regular season schedule tomorrow.
