CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Charge (3-3) fell at home to the Texas Legends (5-2), 120-94, at the Wolstein Center on Saturday night.
Cleveland’s Sharife Cooper scored 17 points with five rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes. Malik Fitts scored 14 points and grabbed five boards in 36 minutes. Pete Nance stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, seven rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocks in 32 minutes. Justin Powell scored 13 points while Aleem Ford scored 12 points and Zhaire Smith added 11 points for the Charge.
Texas was paced by Greg Brown’s game-high 24 points on 9-of-11 from the floor and seven rebounds in 25 minutes. Jordan Walker scored 20 points on 7-of-13 from the field in 23 minutes. Dexter Dennis came off the bench to score 16 points and grab seven rebounds in 31 minutes. The Legends snapped an eight game losing streak to the Charge in the first matchup between the two teams since 12/6/17.
