Charge Defeated in Maine

PORTLAND, ME – The Cleveland Charge (9-7) suffered their fifth-straight defeat in a 110-84 loss to the Maine Red Claws (12-7) at the Portland Expo on Friday night. Cleveland’s 84 points scored tonight was a new season-low.
Jamorko Pickett led the Charge with 19 points, nine boards and two steals in 39 minutes. Nate Hinton scored 19 points with seven rebounds in 36 minutes. Rashad Vaughn scored 16 points with seven rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes of relief. Gabe Osabuohien and Jordan Allen added 12 and 11 points respectively for Cleveland, who had eight players available for tonight’s game.
Maine’s Tony Snell came off the bench to lead all scorers with 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting in 26 minutes. Marial Shayok scored 20 points and nabbed two steals in 29 minutes. Mfiondu Kabengele posted a double-double of 13 points and 17 rebounds in 29 minutes for the Celtics. Luka Samanic also posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 boards in 29 minutes.
