Charge Fall in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, IN – The Cleveland Charge (6-2) were defeated by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (2-2), 122-93, at the War Memorial Coliseum on Sunday afternoon.

Nate Hinton tied a pair of franchise records with six steals in the first half and seven overall in the game to go along with his game-high 30 points plus nine rebounds in 37 minutes.  Jamorko Pickett scored 23 points and grabbed six boards in 29 minutes.  Chris Walker came off the bench to score a season-high 13 points on 6-of-9 from the floor with eight rebounds and four blocks in 25 minutes.  Sharife Cooper scored 10 points and dished seven assists in 30 minutes.  Cleveland had eight players available for tonight’s game coming off of a home victory last night.

Indiana Pacers assignment Terry Taylor led the Mad Ants with a double-double of 29 points and 18 rebounds in 35 minutes.  Eli Brooks also contributed a double-double of 14 points and 10 assists in 33 minutes.  Kendall Brown added 14 points and four steals in 32 minutes.  Fort Wayne took control of the game by outscoring Cleveland 36-19 in the third quarter, assisting on 11 of 14 field goals and getting nine different players involved in the scoring effort.
