WHITE PLAINS, NY – The Cleveland Charge (3-4) were defeated on the road by the Westchester Knicks (4-5), 126-111, at the Westchester County Center on Monday afternoon.
Cleveland’s Pete Nance scored 18 points with eight rebounds and six assists in 33 minutes. Zhaire Smith posted his second double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds with four assists in 33 minutes. Sharife Cooper added 16 points, while Justin Powell netted 14 points on 4-of-7 from three-point range. Aleem Ford had 16 points and Devontae Shuler added 12 points and five assists off the bench for the Charge.
The Knicks were led by four players who scored 20+ points: DaQuan Jeffries scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Jacob Toppin scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Brandon Goodwin scored 21 points with eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals for Westchester. Jaylen Martin came off the bench to score 21 points on 7-of-11 from the field.
