Charge Halt Herd in Wisconsin

OSHKOSH, WI – The Cleveland Charge (2-0) of the NBA G League, won their first road game of the season in a 112-103 victory over the Wisconsin Herd at the Oshkosh Arena on Tuesday night.

Cavaliers Two-Way Player Isaiah Mobley scored 22 of his game-high 26 points in the first half to go along with 13 rebounds and three blocks in 36 minutes.  Jamorko Pickett posted his second double-double to start the season by netting 24 points on 6-of-13 from three-point range and grabbing 13 boards with a pair of steals in 41 minutes.  Sharife Cooper scored 23 of his 25 points in the second half with five assists and three steals in 30 minutes.  Sam Merrill rounded out the four starters with 20+ points, scoring 22 points and dishing six assists in 36 minutes.  Cleveland led for the entire second half of the game and by as many as 23 points.

Wisconsin was paced by Elijah Hughes scoring 20 points and nabbing four steals in 30 minutes of relief off the bench.  Joe Wieskamp scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds in 36 minutes.  Jordan Bone added 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting in 33 minutes.  The Herd reserves outscored the Charge second unit, 41-7.
