Charge Lose at Home to Lakers

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Charge (10-9) were defeated at home by the South Bay Lakers (12-7), 114-95, in their final game before the All-Star break.

Blake Francis scored 16 points with three steals in 23 minutes off the bench for Cleveland.  Sam Merrill added 14 points and three steals in 29 minutes.  Jamorko Pickett scored 15 points and grabbed five rebounds in 24 minutes of relief.

South Bay’s Fabian White Jr. scored 23 of the team’s 60 bench points to lead his team in scoring.  Bryce Hamilton scored 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting in 30 minutes.  South Bay as a team hit 17-of-33 three-pointers in the game (52%).

Cleveland’s Sharife Cooper & Isaiah Mobley are headed to All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City to play with some of the brightest stars of tomorrow in the 2023 NBA G League Next Up game on Sunday, Feb. 19th at 3:00 p.m. EST,  airing live on NBA TV from the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
