Charge Make Roster Moves

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Charge have announced a series of roster moves.  F Pete Nance has rejoined the team following the completion of his 10-day contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers and F Brian Bowen II has been waived.  Also, the Charge have added G Scotty Hopson from the available player pool as part of a roster hardship exception.

Nance appeared in two games with the Cavaliers during his 10-day stint.  For the Charge in seven regular season games, he is averaging 16.6 points on .471 shooting with 7.9 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.6 blocks in 33.8 minutes per game.  Bowen appeared in four games for the Charge and averaged 3.8 points on .412 shooting with 2.0 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game.

Hopson (6-7, 204, Tennessee) went undrafted in 2011 and has spent time in the NBA G League, NBA and playing internationally all over the world.  Hopson most recently played in the NBA G League during the 2022-23 season for the Oklahoma City Blue, playing in 26 games and averaging 10.9 points on .529 shooting with 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 22.1 minutes.
