Charge Stall in Motor City

DETROIT, MI – The Cleveland Charge (14-14) suffered a third-straight defeat in a 122-110 loss to the Motor City Cruise (15-14) at the Wayne State Fieldhouse on Wednesday afternoon.

Cleveland’s Sharife Cooper scored 22 of his game-high 32 points in the fourth quarter, going 11-of-23 from the field overall in 39 minutes.  Nate Hinton hit six three-pointers in the first half, finishing with 26 points, nine rebounds and three steals in 41 minutes.  Rashad Vaughn came off the bench to provide 22 points in 32 minutes.  Devonate Shuler added 11 points and three steals in 37 minutes.

Motor City cleaned the boards for a 60-27 advantage in the game, led by Reggie Perry’s 27 points and 12 rebounds in 28 minutes off the bench.  Stanley Umude hit 6-of-10 threes, scoring 23 points and grabbing nine rebounds for the Cruise.  Keifer Sykes had 23 points, five rebounds and five assists in 35 minutes.
