Charge Start February with Back-to-Back Game Action at Public Hall
Charge highlight Cleveland excellence with Black Heritage Celebration on Friday and Special Olympics Night on Saturday

The Charge return home to Public Hall to host the Greensboro Swarm (Charlotte Hornets) for Black Heritage Celebration on Friday, February 6, at 7:00 p.m. and Special Olympics Night on Saturday, February 7, at 7:00 p.m.
Friday, February 6 – Black Heritage Celebration
Black Heritage Celebration will put a spotlight on the vital contributions of Black Americans that shape the city of Cleveland and the game of basketball. Fans attending the Charge game on Friday night will recognize a familiar Cleveland Cavaliers personality on the court as Ahmaad Crump joins Kierra Cotton to co-host the game. The Charge will invite Crump and members of Rocket Arena’s Team Member Resource Group, BELIEVE (Black Employees Leading in Inclusion, Excellence, Vision, and Leadership) to recognize Divine 9 Fraternities and Sororities. The National Anthem, performed by musician Kennedy Jones, a special primetime performance by the Glenville Glamourettes, and beats brought to Public Hall by the Cavs 216Stix presented by Spritewill bring rhythm and excellence to the night.
Friday’s game will be the third night of the season to showcase local artists and highlight their connectivity to Cleveland and its diverse community. Specialty shooting shirts designed by local artist Larry A. Lesley will be worn by the team during warmups and later available for purchase via starting at noon on Friday and ending on Sunday at noon. The graphic will reflect Lesley’s signature style and can be previewed at the Community Corner in the atrium. Lesley additionally created specialty designs that will be displayed highlighting Black inventors and innovators that made their mark on Cleveland. These pieces will be showcased on screen during pregame and throughout the night. The Charge will recognize their own James Adams, graphic designer for the Cavaliers organization, for his creativity and contributions to the Charge brand.
The first 1,500 guests to Friday’s game will receive a cozy Cleveland Charge embroidered beanie courtesy of 4imprint ideal for braving the Cleveland weather.
The night’s 50/50 raffle, available in person and online, will benefit Bulldog Bags, Inc, an all-volunteer-managed non-profit business that was organized to address food insecurity in children in the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District.
Center Court, the official Team Shop of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Charge, will offer a $30 Charge blanket as the Item of the Game. The Item of the Game will be available while supplies last and is exclusive to shoppers at Public Hall.
Saturday, February 7 – Special Olympics Night championed by Cleveland Cliffs
Special Olympics Night championed by Cleveland Cliffs returns to the Charge season for a night of inclusion and joy as Clevelanders come together to lift up the incredible athletes and supporters of Special Olympics Ohio. Athlete Leadership and participants of the Young Athletes Program will be featured throughout the game. The National Anthem will be performed by Nick Farran, Strongsville-based Special Olympics athlete. The Charge will additionally recognize the accomplishments of Special Olympics Ohio Hall of Fame Inductees and Team Ohio 2026. The Charge roster will be seen sporting specialty jerseys on the court, representing the “cool”est way to support SOOH by partaking in the 2026 Polar Plunge.
Fans will feel the love from the Charge from entry to exit, starting with a Cleveland Charge blanket giveaway for the first 1,500 guests (one item per person). This cuddly giveaway pairs with plans to attend the 2026 Law Enforcement Torch Run Cleveland Polar Plunge on Saturday, February 28, for a fundraiser promising freezing feats of bravery to promote inclusion and support the athletes of Special Olympics Ohio. Attendees will also be treated to a performance by the Cleveland Cavaliers Wine & Goldies Dance Team, the co-ed senior dance crew frequently seen performing at Rocket Arena.
Autographed specialty jerseys from the night will be available to bid on through DASH starting at noon on Saturday and running through Sunday at noon. Saturday’s 50/50 will benefit Law Enforcement Torch Run, a national campaign to support the Special Olympics. Tickets for 50/50 Raffle can be purchased in-game and online. for Ohio Residents age 18+.
Center Court will offer replica Special Olympics Jerseys as the Item of the Game. The Item of the Game will be available while supplies last at both the Public Hall Retail Stand and online.
