Charge Start Regular Season With a Splash!

HOME DOUBLEHEADER NEXT FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AGAINST CONFERENCE RIVAL RINGS IN NEW YEAR

CLEVELAND, OH – It’s 5 o’clock somewhere so hold onto your sponge cake because the Cleveland Charge are inviting everyone out to our Margaritaville Night presented by Neuvo on Friday, December 29^th at… 5:00 p.m., of course. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Charge Margaritaville Bucket Hat to protect from the sun bake. This will be the first game of the Regular Season portion of the 2023-24 NBA G League schedule that will run through the end of March. The first 16 games of the 23-24 season were part of the Showcase portion of the schedule. The Charge are halfway through their two games at the NBA G League Showcase in Orlando with a win on Wednesday versus G League Ignite before they take on the Oklahoma City Blue tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.. 

As Jimmy Buffett said, “It takes no more time to see the good side of life than the bad”. At the first-ever Charge Margaritaville Night, not only will fans have a great night out, but they can help magnify the good with the second part of our Goodwill Drive, by bringing in winter clothes or purchasing from our  Amazon Wish List to help keep our community warm. We are also honoring Jimmy’s memory with proceeds from our specialty jersey auction benefiting Singing for Change, a foundation Buffett helped found in 1995.

Come Monday (or Friday)…if fans want their own jersey to rock at the game, they can pick up their very own replica Margaritaville jersey in our Team Shop. Jerseys can be purchased at the Wolstein Center or online.

The rhythm continues Saturday with a Youth Dance Clinic ahead of our 7:00 p.m. tip-off against the Long Island Nets (Brooklyn Nets) to close out the double-header. Children ages 6-14 will be instructed by the Cavaliers Dance Team on the official court where participants will be able to meet the team and rehearse a performance with them that will take place at the Charge game later that night!

All participants will receive a clinic t-shirt (for the performance) and a Charge water bottle. Tickets are only $25 (dancers) and $20 (friends and family). Get your tickets here!
