DETROIT, MI – The Cleveland Charge (3-3) fell on the road to the Motor City Cruise (5-1), 101-92, at the Wayne State FieldHouse on Friday night.

Cleveland’s Emoni Bates scored 29 points, going 5-of-10 from three-point range, nabbing two steals and swatting four blocks in 35 minutes.  Rob Edwards came off the bench to score 16 points on 4-of-6 from three in 26 minutes.  Aleem Ford posted his first double-double of the season with 11 points and 12 boards plus two steals in 39 minutes.  Sharife Cooper totaled 10 points, six assists and two steals in 28 minutes.   

A trio of Cruise players notched double-doubles in the team’s win.  Jared Rhoden scored 25 points with 10 rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 45 minutes.  Jontay Porter scored 17 points, grabbed 12 boards and had three blocks in 38 minutes.  Tosan Evbuomwan scored 16 points, had 10 rebounds, dished eight assists with a pair of blocks in 41 minutes.  Zavier Simpson added 23 points, seven rebounds and nine assists in 45 minutes.
