HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – The Cleveland Charge (6-4) suffered their third-straight road defeat in a 119-99 loss to the Windy City Bulls (6-2) at the NOW Arena on Saturday night.
Cleveland’s Jamorko Pickett scored a team-high 22 points with nine rebounds and five assists in 35 minutes. Sam Merrill scored 21 points on 6-of-13 from three-point range with five rebounds in 34 minutes. Sharife Cooper added 19 points and six boards in 37 minutes. Jordan Allen had 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting in 19 minutes off the bench.
The Bulls were led by Malcolm Hill’s 20 points, eight rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes. Chicago Bulls assignment Marko Simonovic posted a double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds with two blocks in in 32 minutes. The Bulls gained a 5-4 lead off a Thompson floater with 10:04 left in the first quarter & never trailed the rest of the game.
