Charge Trade For Fitts

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Charge have acquired F Malik Fitts from the Capital City Go-Go and sent the rights to G Rob Edwards to the Maine Celtics as part of a three-team trade.

Fitts (6-6, 230, St. Mary’s) played in 14 games during the Showcase Cup season and averaged 4.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 17.2 minutes per game.  After going undrafted in 2020, Fitts has spent time with the Los Angeles Clippers, Utah Jazz and Boston Celtics in the NBA. 

Edwards played in all 16 of Cleveland’s Showcase Cup games, averaging 9.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 21.9 minutes per game.
