Charge Win Five in a Row

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – The Cleveland Charge (5-1) won their fifth game in a row and fourth consecutive road game in a 104-95 victory over the Windy City Bulls (3-5) on Saturday night.  The win gives Cleveland a 3-2 edge in the season series between the two teams with the sixth and final matchup coming on Monday afternoon.

Cleveland’s Sam Merrill tied a franchise record for threes in a game by hitting 8-of-15 from long distance, finishing with a game-high 29 points with five rebounds and a pair of steals in 39 minutes.  Isaiah Mobley posted a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds with two blocks in 32 minutes.  Nate Hinton added 15 points and five boards in 29 minutes. Jamorko Pickett had 11 points and six rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench, while Rashad Vaughn scored 12 points in 17 minutes of relief.

Marko Simonovic led the Bulls with 21 points and 10 rebounds in 33 minutes.  Dalen Terry had a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds with six assists and three blocks in 40 minutes for Windy City.
