Charge Win Third Straight

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Charge (5-4) of the NBA G League, presented by Cleveland Clinic, won their third consecutive game with a 107-104 victory over the Iowa Wolves (4-3) on Monday night. The win also was Cleveland’s third-straight at home.
The Charge were paced by R.J. Nembhard’s game-high 31 points on 10-of-14 shooting with seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in 37 minutes. Malik Newman came off the bench to provide 25 points on 4-of-9 from three-point range in 23 minutes of relief. Kyle Guy scored 14 points and grabbed eight boards in 33 minutes. Justin James added 13 points on 5-of-9 from the field in 23 minutes. On assignment from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Dylan Windler played 24 minutes off the bench and scored five points with eight rebounds.
Iowa was led by Chris Silva’s double-double of 18 points and 17 rebounds with three steals in 29 minutes. Brian Bowen II also had 18 points, eight rebounds and three steals in 34 minutes. McKinley Wright IV scored 14 points and dished out seven assists in 30 minutes. Isaiah Miller scored 13 points and nabbed three steals in 27 minutes off the bench.
