Emoni Bates Voted to Up Next Game at All-Star Weekend

CLEVELAND, OH – Cleveland Charge G Emoni Bates was chosen to participate in the 2024 NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T on Sunday, February 18 at 1:30 p.m. ET at G League Park in NBA Crossover at the Indiana Convention Center. Bates received the tenth-most votes from fans to automatically earn a spot at All-Star Weekend.

In five regular season games played for the Charge, Bates is averaging 24.6 points on .417 shooting and .429 three-point shooting with 5.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 35.3 minutes per game.  Bates also played in 10 games during the earlier Showcase Cup portion of the season, averaging 24.8 points on .455 shooting and .416 three-point shooting with 5.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 33.9 minutes per game.

The event features an exciting new tournament-style format where each team will have its own influencer general manager, who will draft their squad, customize their teams’ jersey, and stream the game on their own digital platforms.  The teams will be made up of 28 NBA G League players, including 10 selected by a fan vote. The remaining 18 players will be selected by the NBA G League and will include eight members of NBA G League Ignite and at least one member of the Indiana Mad Ants, the G League affiliate of the All-Star hosting Indiana Pacers.  Each team will be coached by a head coach from the NBA G League.

Fans can attend the NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T by purchasing general admission tickets to NBA Crossover, starting at $35 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available through the NBA Events App, which can be downloaded in the Apple Store or Google Play Store. All seats for the Up Next Game presented by AT&T will be unassigned and on a first-come first-served basis.  The NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T will stream live here on nbagleague.com, the G League App, on the NBA G League’s YouTube channel, NBA App, and co-stream on the individual digital platforms of the team’s general managers.
