Rock Stars & Rockers Come to Cleveland This Weekend

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League will be rocking all weekend long when they host a pair of home games beginning with MGK Night against the Long Island Nets (Brooklyn Nets) on Friday, March 17th at 6:00 PM. The Charge will then honor the city’s WNBA past during Cleveland Rockers 25th Anniversary Night presented by Athleta when the two teams meet again on Saturday, March 18th at 7:00 p.m.

Music sensation and Cleveland native Machine Gun Kelly will be honored during Friday’s game with the Charge team being decked out in special pink & black uniforms with “Cleveland” written in MGK’s motif. The only place fans will be able to get one of the jerseys is through a special auction on the Charge mobile app. The first 1,000 fans at Friday’s game will receive a black t-shirt featuring the special Charge/MGK logo in pink across the chest! Fans at the game Friday can also enjoy $1 dogs at the concessions, postgame free-throws and autographs from select Charge players after the game.
The Charge will host a Women’s History Celebration presented by Athleta for Saturday’s game, with WNBA Cleveland Rockers alumna Janice Braxton and Bonnie Dove in attendance to lead the celebration! The Charge team will be once again be wearing special uniforms for Saturday, featuring a set paying homage to the original 1997-98 Rockers that fans can also bid for exclusively on the Charge mobile app. The first 1,000 fans at Saturday’s game will get an exclusive tie dye Charge / Rockers Super Soft T-Shirt! Also for Saturday’s game, the entire Charge team will be signing autographs following the game as well as free-throws on the court for fans.
