CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Charge (2-8) of the NBA G League, presented by Cleveland Clinic, snapped a six-game losing streak with a 105-96 win over the Greensboro Swarm (4-5) on Tuesday afternoon at the Wolstein Center. Almost 2,500 kids from the surrounding school districts brought the energy as part of our annual School Day game, presented by ActNow.
Tacko Fall led all scorers with 27 points, going 10-for-12 from the floor, to go along with nine boards and two blocked shots in 27 minutes of action. Cavaliers assignment Dylan Windler contributed a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds, along with four assists in 44 minutes. Two-Way player RJ Nembhard netted 14 points, three assists, and two steals in 31 minutes.
D.J. Carton paced the Swarm with 22 points with five rebounds and three steals in 38 minutes. Arnoldas Kulboka followed with 18 points, including four from behind the arc, while Charlotte Hornets assignment Kai Jones tallied 17 points and nine rebounds in 25 minutes.
After a tightly contested first half, a Tacko Fall dunk from Nembhard tied the game at the 10:37 mark of the third and sparked the Charge on a 13-0 run. Nembhard and Josh Huestis led scorers in the quarter with six points apiece.
